Well I suppose what the Professors Carrow did was only practical, really, but I can see why it might be a little embarrassing for some people. I mean, some halfbloods live with really good and important pureblood guardians, and I wonder what their guardians will think. I just think if we're going to be segregad segregated now then they should have done it all the time so it wasn't so confusing to some people.
Anyway, Teddy and I were talking at lunch about
Oh for Circe's sake....DENNIS? WHERE ARE YOU?
Why are there SCONES all over my bed? There must be about fifty! I told you I don't want any scones with tea, just like I told you last week and the week before. And yet you keep bringing them and can EAT fifty scones, really?
They had better be gone when I get back from supper or I don't know what I'll do with you. I suppose you think you're being helpful but really you're being very disobedient. I thought you knew better than to behave this way, but I guess I was wrong. Maybe I haven't been firm enough with you. Well, that's all going to change!

Date: 2010-02-02 03:19 am (UTC)Your Aunt Dorea had a house elf who would insist on bringing her raspberry tisane despite an allergy to raspberries and repeated reminders. She cleaned her cupboards out of the stuff, but the elf still brought her tisane she couldn't drink. She objected to disciplining the creature (heaven knows why) until finally he had to be put down.

Date: 2010-02-02 01:07 am (UTC)I am sorry. I don't know why I brought you scones. I may have thought you wanted them, but you didn't know it. A good mudblood should antisapate his Masters needs, Master Draco.

Date: 2010-02-02 02:53 am (UTC)Hermione, even if Draco says no to my idea, you might tell Dennis that if he cleans like crazy to get rid of crumbs, that might make it stop. Maybe. I didn't realise how many times it had happened. They might be coming up from the kitchens, I'm not sure.

exsessexcessive. Does he think you can't get enough or something? Why's he nicking scones from the kitchen, of all things?no subject
Date: 2010-02-02 01:12 am (UTC)I don't know if he thinks he's being helpful or if he's gone mad. He's been acting a bit mental ever since the epidemic started. Have they said anything about it making mudbloods mental rather than sick?

Date: 2010-02-02 01:14 am (UTC)I haven't heard about them going mental. I didn't think they had all that much to think about in the first place. But if you think he's damaged, maybe Professor Brutka ought to look at him? Or even Madam Pomfrey?

Date: 2010-02-02 02:21 am (UTC)And if we can't get sick anyways, I just don't see why it matters. Unless we could pass it along somehow without knowing it, but even if that was possible, we're quarantined.

Date: 2010-02-02 03:44 am (UTC)It was unpleasant, is all. And it might happen in the other classes too, and I'm still not seeing why it has to happen in the first place.
And I haven't forgotten what we talked over and everything. But that doesn't mean I didn't get a bit frustrated when we had to switch chairs and everything. Even though it's just a little thing.
Besides, we aren't supposed to let silly gossip and rumours make us afraid.no subject
