Message to Hufflepuff

I was sorry to hear about Abbott; I didn't know her well but she seemed a good sort, and it's obvious that all of Hufflepuff was fond of her. All who knew her have my condolences.

Really though, I don't know about the rest of you lot but most of us in Slytherin are tired of having to sort through rumours and speculation about what happened. We heard here that it was Macnair or Snape, at first, but then by late last night the news was that Professor Carrow did it, and its because Hannah and Hydra (!?) tried to use Imperius on him for some reason, and he resisted it. I'm not sure how the Razzer ended up in the Transfiguration classroom at all, since it's not in the same corridor as Defence. I guess the Head Boy probably had something to do in the classroom, since he takes Advanced Transfig.

What have the rest of you heard?

I have to say that I think it's mad that a student could die here, of all places, but I guess it's happened before. Isn't that why that girl's ghost haunts the loo?

What do you think, would Hydra be mad enough to try to help rescue a kitten from Professor Carrow? I sort of think not, just because she's usually so cautious, but she also really likes kittens and things, so I don't know.

I think maybe. I mean she probably wouldnt think he'd be mad enough to try to hurt her. Her mum is no joke.

If it's true that Raz took a curse that was meant for her, then he was definitely trying to hurt her. And they said that Raz's injuries are severe and he's a grown man; Hydra's so little I suppose it might've have even killed her, too?

Professor Carrow had her kitten; she asked for it back after lessons and he wouldn't give it to her.

I heard that part but then he said something else I didn't catch.

And she and Hydra were PMing each other--I remember thinking it was sort of odd because they don't know each other well.

I don't know exactly what happened because they won't tell us anything, but I can guess.

I didn't notice that Hydra and Abbott were talking, but if it involved an animal, well... I can guess what might've happened, too.

Now that I think on it, when I've been in the Razzer's office he had loads of things that were set up to alert him about things going on in the castle. I bet one of them set off, and that's why he was there.

As much as I love my House, I think that pretty soon--not today, but soon--I'm going to need to get away.

He doesn't know Hannah Abbott well at all if he thinks she'd be stupid enough to try an imperius curse on Professor Carrow. But I'd think he'd know his own cousin pretty well.

I haven't heard that particular rumour at all. It sounds mad to me.

Hydra might know how to do Imperius. I mean, her mum might've taught her.

She knows lots of things that she keeps quiet about.

I've just heard from Samantha that it was the Head Boy who used Imperius on Professor Carrow, though she wasn't sure exactly why. Maybe to stop him? The Head Boy really doesn't like it when any rules are broken!

I was going to say that she might have to become a ghost if we're ever going to hear about what happened, but I see that the Headmistress just made an announcement.

Still, it doesn't tell us why he did it.
