Well, there's something I never thought I'd see you say.

Seamus says he tried to get Weasley not to use his broom. Teddy heard about it, you know, and he said that we ought to have asked Seamus to do it just to make your team lose its concentration. But I know Seamus wouldn't have done it to his own teammate on purpose, even Weasley.

Still, I know winning's important to you and I'm sorry you had such a hard time. I hope you had a little fun, anyway. It's really down to your leadership that things didn't fall apart even sooner.

Oh, Draco. I'm so so sorry that on top of everything else, Astoria had to be such a little beast! Your hand's not too terribly injured, is it?

And you should see her now, swanning about as if she should get some award for being the "most difficult" to rescue. Apparently she was instructed to make it "not easy" for us to guide her back to the base.

I want you to know that you did a really superb job, even with all that went wrong. Outstanding!

I don't blame you at all for being cross. I'm sorry things didn't go as planned, but I'm glad you were able to get things back on track, and I've no doubt you ended as well as you did because of your leadership. It's a shame, really, because I know how much you and Bones and Ron wanted to do well, and how hard all of you worked. I think you really would have given Harry's team a real fight for first if Ron's broom hadn't crashed like that.

And it's a real shame about his broom, too. He worked for ages to fix it up last summer.
