Tis the Season
Splendid party at the Manor last night - Mother outdid herself, as ever. The winter garden was particularly festive, with an arrangement of lights, charms, and other delights. The band played until the sun came up, since everyone was loathe to stop dancing and celebrating, so you might say that the party didn't actually end until after breakfast.
Many of the usual faces in attendance, of course, and it was good to see all of you.
Of course, those who were unable to make it were, with a few exceptions, missed. Best wishes for a Happy Christmas to you and yours.

Yes, it was quite a jolly get-together, what! Mr and Mrs Jugson have been talking all day about what a thrill it was to be invited.
(I think Remy well enjoyed being there, too. I say, perhaps had a smidge too much punch, if you ask me.)

I say, I hope your holidays are off to a good start, what?

I'm sure that I'll see you again before we head back to school.

Have you any particular plans? You know I'm to spend some time at the Ministry; Smith has a hope of getting some of us lads together at a pub, probably after working hours. I've told him I'll try to go along.

Order Only: Private Message to Draco and Hydra

I take it some of them walked on two legs?

Re: Order Only: Private Message to Draco and Hydra
Hydra wanted us to do something. Save them, or something. Though obviously there was very little that the two of us could do, given the company we were in.

I just don't know about letting everyone else in the Order know about this. The last thing I want is Black going on about how we could have done more, or raised the alarm, or some other rubbish like that.
Re: Order Only: Private Message to Draco and Hydra
Did you manage anything? What could you have done?
Do you know, Bill thought we ickle juniors couldn't stomach the idea of Maule's finger in a jar on Mulciber's desk, what; I wonder what he'd do if he knew we were routinely faced with situations in which we're expected to torture or hunt Muggles. Next to that, a finger's bally well nothing.

I probably missed a few - they were trying to hide, after all. Hydra did better than I did because of her legilimency, and the fact that she's a girl and looks about as deadly as a sugarplum faerie.
The food must have had some kind of amiability charm in it, because no one seemed to terribly enraged that they didn't have much prey to prey on. After a while they all decided to fly over to Stroud and burn things.

But of course, you'd know her! She's Mr Krumgold's sister, isn't she? I remember Mum talking about how she and Gerard Joosh told her she couldn't possibly use 'Krumgold' in her line. Mum thought 'Seraphina K' would make a smashing label but she said that Ms Krumgold laughed and said she hasn't used 'Seraphina' in society in ages. And she thought, there are so few really quality designers in the Protectorate, why not go as simple as possible?
Yes, I think she's going to go far, too. It's that kind of vision that makes a really amazing designer. What colour were they? I bet you looked divine.

The robes were a combination of cream lace and metallic silks. She does very intriguing things with contrasting textures. Quite edgy for some, but that's what I like, you know!
I think there's a photograph of Draco and I in the Prophet, if you'd like to see them.
